This minor maintenance release of the QuickCam software increases compatibility with PowerBook 1400, 2400, and 3400 models. It also supports USB machines, allowing compatibility with the new iMac. This update supports the Greyscale QuickCam, Color QuickCam, and QuickCam VC. You must be running version 2.1 or later of the Color QuickCam software in order to run this updater.

"Web Cam Vs. Virtual PC - XP"

Summary
I have installed Virtual PC with Windows XP on it hoping that using my Mac I would be able to work on the camera but nothing work. The installation was a pain. I had to do it 3 times then when launching the cam software my XP crashed. It was impossiblem to make it work. I feel very very sorry for companies like Logitech that don't even think about Macintosh users. When trying to install it on the Mac (as it says it is compatible) it's all bull! There is no compatiblilty. Of course I returned the item it was a very frustrating experience.

i have had my quickcam for several years now and always had great luck. i then upgraded to os9 and forget it. i have done everthing possible to get my cam to work but even with the upgrades. what a mess. i of course will not support or give a verbal seal of approval. how very sad. the company should make amens to those of us who at one time liked there product. but as we all know this will never happen. so dont venture where there is no possiblillity for hope.
