As a basic color picker it works fine
Can't hand edit numeric or html color fields, doesn't work on more than my primary monitor.
If all you need is a point and click color picker and you only have one monitor then this would be fine. Not working on multiple monitors is a deal breaker for me, I will be finding an alternative.
Gave me the RGB for colors I needed to match.
Would not let me use the color picker in another monitor. I had to have the program running on the same monitor as the color I wanted to match.
Exactly what I needed. As advertised.
When installing CNet tries to make you download other programs and stuff you don't need. Make sure you read what you are agreeing to. Though Cnet is great for small program downloads, they always try to get you to download other stuff that has nothing to do with your download. Cnet you sneaky dog, you.
Works as intended. Fast, simple to use. I've been using it and am satisfied.
It doesn't have a lot of fancy features, just the basics you'd expect. Maybe it deserves 5 stars for being what it says it is, but if you want more, then keep looking.
Worked very well.Saved a whole lot of time.1page i had my blog editor the other my website, picked the color from the website with the pin copied code pasted in wordpress.Safe download i may say so also being downloaded here from CNET.com
Have not found any cons.
Great tool you should download one from CNET.com today.Come check my site at http://firekindelnow.com/blog/
Small, fast, and easy to use
None, at least not yet.
I needed a tool to match colors for my website and didn't want lots of bells and whistles. This was just right.
Easy to install, easy to use, gives RGB and Hex code
None to speak of
This little program has helped me look like creative genius! So simple to use and spot on. If you aren't using it you should be.
Easy to select any color on your screen. It gives you the RGB values and the hex value.
None that I can think of.
It's so small, there's hardly anything to say - which is a BIG plus!
As is the fact, as others have noted, that it doesn't actually install itself and/or tons of drivers etc.
Slightly unnerving initial interface, but that's probably just me...
If you ever want to find an on-screen colour-value, USE THIS!!! I don't know how to use the 'HTML' numbers, but you get the RGB as well, so anyone can figure it out. You could probably even print out the picture/icon, or whatever, and take a note of the numbers, then take (or send) them to a printer's for an exact colour-match, if necessary.
Other than that, I would echo the call for multiple colour recognition lists.
Takes color from any point of screen.
havn't find yet
