Version: PureSim Baseball 2007 1.1
"Realistic, In-Depth and You can jump right into the game!"
Pros: Puresim is a great game that is in depth yet not complicated. It has a simple interface and you can started in no time with your franchise. One of the great features of the game is the almanac which keeps track of the history of your league. After you try out the demo you will be purchasing the game after you are addicted!

"The single best text-sim in existence."
Pros: This game has been adequately described by other users, but its flexibility hasn't been fully emphasized. One can play any major league season from 1901-2005, with real or fictional players. Community add-ons for real ballparks, player faces and music enhance the overall immersion level. One can choose to be a general manager, and get into the dugout and manage each game of your chosen team. Wanna play with free agency in the 50s? You can do this, or elect to go with the reserve clause intact, for ANY era.
Cons: None. The level of support for this game is phenomenal. The game designer actively solicits player input, and is very responsive to their wants/needs.

Pros: I purchased this game last fall and cannot say enough about it! Historical replays, fictional drafts and leagues, tremendous flexibiity. It is "tops" when it comes to Big League text sims. Get it TODAY! You will not be disappointed.

Version: PureSim Baseball 2007 1.1
Pros: I am new to the world of baseball and I have to say, this is a fantastic introduction to the baseball text sim world.
I bought it after reading the forums over at Matrix Games. Everyone there was friendly and helpful and I heard how the developer was keen to support the community. On this basis, and my "secret" love for Baseball (not much of it about in the UK) I decided to buy it. There isn't a day goes by when I don't fire it up for a quick game. Everyday, without fail, I start a game for "just one more game" and end up playing half a dozen.
Excellent game and worth every penny spent.
Cons: The stats are abbreviated and it makes it difficult, for a new guy to baseball like me, to understand what they mean. However, as stated, the forums at Matrix Games are full of helpful people and it hasn't taken me long to understand the stats or the game.
