"Light and convenient"
Version: Proxy+ 3.0
Pros
I have been using this software for more than 3 years. It is an amazing peace. Very nice quality. Easy to configure. Congratulations.
Cons
None.

"Thanks a lot for your software!"
Version: Proxy+ 3.0
Pros
easy to use. very good!
-
"Not what I thought it was but why?"
Version: Proxy+ 3.0
Pros
Not much
Cons
I mistook it as a program that tunnels you through socks. I see no reason to use this when Windows has ICS and there are better performing freeware of this type around. This kind of software is a big security risk anyways unless you run lots of software to protect it and know what you're doing. It would get 2 or 3 stars for merely being "another" program of its type that's unexceptional and rarely with purpose. It gets degraded further though by the uninstaller practically not touching the app(thank goodness for Your Uninstaller 2006). You will have to bruteforce remove its files and registry entries if you don't have YI or something similar.

"Can't get past the config part"
Version: Proxy+ 3.0
Pros
...will never know
Cons
It gives 2 Url's to use in order to configure the proxy... I tried both and they just give out a 404 error. So... thanks for nothing.

"almost ruined computer"
Version: Proxy+ 3.0
Pros
probably does what it says, never got that far
Cons
install this program ruined my registry and my start menu no longer functioned. The uninstaller didnt fix that either. It deleted most of my start menus- I had to use system restore from the help and support button because my system tools were removed from the start menu.

easy instructions on what port to use etc
overall it is a quality program
Cons
none

"Very efficient, free, stable."
Version: Proxy+ 3.0
Pros
1) Low on system resources
2) Hugely configurable
3) Can easily be configured to close the proxy securely (very important)
4) Loved the idea of web based configuration. Stteings can be changed from any pc in the network [if given access ;-) ]
5) IE, Opera, Imesh, Messenger, real, etc...all working fine.
Cons
1) new user might get confused with the huge list of configurations available. choice of advanced and basic user will be a good idea for next version.
2) Content filtering, parential control missing, while ccproxy (paid) has it.
But overall if you want to use it for home network...this is it..don't go any further.

"Thank god I found this!"

"The slowest proxy I've ever used."
Version: Proxy+ 3.0
Summary
True the software is a noob-proof. ...but that's just about it.
You can't filter-out the web content, no prefetch content, plus! the cache system's doesn't feel right (I'm using Opera 7.23, and it's way faster without this thing turns on. I can't open 2 or more diferent site while using this proxy. Weird, huh?). And the way it makes me click on that "Delete" word thing at the "Cache Control Panel", it makes me sick. ...makes me wonder, how's that feel when you need to delete over 1000 cache things!?
