There has been no downside to this package.
Summary
We have been using ProposalKit to secure business since 2002 when a friend recommended the package. As a start-up business ProposalKit was key to a) getting customer documentation right (& legal) b) tracking and costing time spent on projects c) saving money !
Almost 10 years later and we still depend on ProposalKit to ensure our profitability. -

Very user friendly!!! Included tutorials made writing my first proposal quick and easy. Included sample templates at the click of a button was a life saver.

This program is very easy to use and is written laymans terms. There are no difficult legal terms to figure out.
Cons
The program is composed of MS Word documents. If you go behind the scenes and delete a file, the wizard will not track the changes.

I like this program and recommend it to anyone who wants to create a quick document for business purposes.

There are so many proposals it will take a minute to get used to what's what. But you can still get started right away. Plus you will have live tech support to help if you get stuck.

For 200 bucks!!! It's a no brainer.

Pros
Covers nearly any type of proposal you may need. The ability to add more or create your own "packs" for your own specific industry or service is very powerful. Instead of getting a whole lot of what you don't need, purchase only what you do need.
Cons
Little bit of a learning curve to get up and running with the application (you need to/should know something about proposals.) But, this is to be expected with any new (to you) application.
Summary
Great application that is very powerful and saves a significant amount of time once you are up and running. Create with ease a very simple or complicated/comprehensive proposal. Our clients have been very impressed at the attention to detail of our proposals as well as the professional and unintimidating appearance of the document. Imagine your clients Legal Department/Lawyer approving your proposal two days after receiving.
I am by no means saying that I had become proposal writing guru in a week or two using ProposalKit. What I am saying is that, I had the knowledge of the Who, What, Where and How of the clients product moving through our system and distribution. And why using us to distribute their product would benefit them.
ProposalKit is the tool that I used to compile that information into
a straight forward proposal for the clients approval. And so far we
are averaging eight out of ten acceptances. -

Summary
Purchasing Proposal Kit gave me the tools I needed to improve my communication during the proposal phase of acquiring new clients the contracts proposal templates and samples all work together to help me with a more unified voice with my clients and has helped me turn more prospects in to paid clients.

"Fantastic tool to aid with speedy proposal creation"

Pros
You can use a Wizard to help you through the selection process, and tag the documents you want to include. Makes it very intuitive to use.
Cons
Nothing major. Could benefit from some video based tutorials perhaps for new users.
Summary
Have been a user of ProposalKit for over 6 years now and the product continues to evolve and get better with each version.
An error on my part - there ARE video based tutorials to help people get up and running. Guess I missed those. Apologies to all concerned.
Simple to install yet an incredible powerful way to access a plethora of
templates and examples for incredibly powerful proposal production. Templates are of excellent quality.
I've used many of these to successfully bid on projects for FTSE100 companies here in the UK. Highly recommended.

"Useful for new proposal writers"

Pros
Takes away the pain of having to repeatedly re-enter the same basic information into proposals. Valuable for someone new to proposal writing. Great how it automatically builds the proposal based on recommended sections to include or ones you choose
Cons
Takes a while to work out how it works but once you've done one it's fine. Changing design and layout can be a challenge once the proposal is generated but this is really a Word problem.
Summary
Really useful for someone wanting to take the leap into proposal writing.
