ProjectTrack Personal allows users to keep track of a variety of projects with a simple, attractive interface. This powerful program will provide users with a wide range of tools for project management.
ProjectTrack's interface is similar to that of many Microsoft Office products, meaning that most users will feel comfortable with it right off the bat. The program is organized into four sections, one for Projects, Contacts, Documents, and Companies. Within each section users can organize every possible piece of information a project might require. We especially liked the Project section, which includes an overview page with indicators for type, phase, budget status, time status, work status, resources status, and percentage complete. It's easy to change each of these indicators and thus always have an idea of where a project stands. Each project page also contains space for documents, action items, and journal entries, making it simple to keep everything in one place and find what you're looking for when you need it. The online Help file is well-written and should answer any questions users have. In addition to keeping everything organized, ProjectTrack allows users to send e-mail from within the program, eliminating the need to switch back and forth from an e-mail client. Users can also open a variety of other programs, such as Office products, from within ProjectTrack, as well as a calculator, a calendar, and a notepad.
ProjectTrack has a 30-day trial period. It installs desktop icons without asking but uninstalls cleanly. We recommend this program to all users.

"Best personal project management tool out there"

Pros
Everything is at your fingertips: Actions, documents, meetingnotes, etc... quick search and sort through many companies and projects. Must have for engineers and marketing individuals who juggle multiple projects at once with many details

Pros
After looking for a long time and trying many different products, I downloaded project track and I think it is a wonderful program. For example, I can catalog all my documents, regardless of their location in my drive, and retrieve them in less time that it would take me doing it by going from directory to directory.
Another think I like is the way the data is organized, as a tree. Very intuitive.
Cons
Because of the many options it has, it can get confusing at the beginning, but once you get use to it, the program is very powerful.
I would be nice to be able to create project plans, then I wouldn't need to use MS Project at all.
