Publisher's Description
From Precision software & consulting:
Precision Helper is a tool for creating and managing help projects. It focuses on the organization of existing HTML files, XML files, scripts, images and other resources so that the help author has the best overview of his project. It works natively with the Microsoft HTML Help projects format (HHP) and allows to publish resulting help to the CHM, WebHelp, ePUB (e-book), PDF and the "single doc" formats. Precision Helper is designed for advanced developers and authors, but user-friendly environment enables creating help projects also by novice users.
What's new in this version: Version 2.0 RC2 has fixed the behavior of all file selection dialogs in Windows 7, when the selection of files by double-clicking has activated a main window instead of the calling window.

"Finally a product that didn't crash on me and works!"
Version: Precision Helper 1.0.2.16
Pros
It didn't crash on me. I used it to make a chm file out of a website. I don't know much about how to do this. I tried about 7-8 other programs and they all either didn't work or they crashed on me midway through compiling. I'm no expert at this.
Cons
I couldn't figure out how to get jpgs to load up, though I got pngs to load up fine.
Summary
I used this to try to create a .chm file from a website. This is the first product that allowed me to get all the way through to create a .chm file that didn't crash midway through the program. I went though around 7-8 other programs that I couldn't get to work. Maybe it's because of my lack of know-how or knowledge of how to use these things since this is the first time I ever tried to do something like this.
There are still tons of things I don't know how to do, but at least I got the bare minimum out of this product, that is the completion of my own chm file. Granted I couldn't get a jpg to show up at all, but .png's showed up fine.
I didn't/couldn't do a full evaluation of everything and I don't know what over half the options are for, but I figured out enough to get my job done.
If I knew more about how to use these kinds of programs then I could probably give this a more appropriate rating.
