This app promises to refresh your Internet Explorer windows with user-selected addresses. However, all that our testers found was an app that refreshed its advertising. Power Refresh's clunky interface wastes space and features more advertising than instruction.
Anyone can operate this app. Merely enter a URL, input how often in minutes to refresh IE, and then add how many times to refresh before stopping. Press the Start button and you're off to nowhere. Our testers found that the app failed to refresh any URL entered. However, the app did load advertising at every start.
Testing a demo always offers the expectation that the app works. PowerRefresh falls far short of that goal. We can't recommend this app for any user.
Publisher's description
From Thomas Kaloyani :Allows you to repeatedly refresh your IE windows every x minutes, for a given number of times. It can handle unlimited numbers of windows / URLs and, unlike similar applications, is using full browsers (with all installed toolbars included). You are also given a counter for each URL you choose to refresh so you'll know how many times the page was loaded, and you can see how many minutes are left until the next refresh.
