PowerPlayer can play video in windowed mode, full screen or even video on desktop. Handles any video file which is supported by DirectShow (includes MPEG-1, MPEG-2, DAT/VCD, ASF, WMV, MOV, AVI, DivX, Real Media, QuickTime Movies, and Flash Movies are also supported (with additional software). This latest version also have support for DVD playback. In addition to standard features commonly found in video player applications, PowerPlayer offer unique features such as widescreen, panning, zoom, internal playlist. It has a simple interface, easy to use, and tightly integrated to Winamp. The program also takes benefit of available Winamp DSP (plugin) and EQ adjustment, to easily improve audio quality of the played video. Moreover PowerPlayer II is free to use.

Version: PowerPlayer II 2.40d
Cons: this program doesn't work for me..
i'm using microsoft windows 2003 enterprise edition (sp 1)
i believe that my computer spec is more than enough: DualCore P4 3.0GHz HT, 2GB DDR RAM, Winamp v5.21 Pro.
can't play dvd video (just blank) but dvd audio can heard :D

Pros: Cool little bar at the bottom of full-screen videos that let me control the progress and volume.
Cons: Did not play MPEG2 video files. Gave an error message. At least before I installed, I could hear the audio when I played them through Winamp.
Summary: I downloaded this for the purpose of playing MPEG2 video files. That's the one thing it did not do. "I ask you to kill Superman, and you can't even do that one simple thing."
