"Disappointed"
Version: PowerAMP Music Player for Android 1.4 build 387
Pros
none for me
Cons
doesn't play most of my audio files; no support
Summary
I had terrible problems getting my audio files toplay on the native Android player. I downloaded many 3rd party apps to fix the problem. To no avail. PowerAmp is unfortunately no exception. It will play some files but not others - even when they are the same format. Doesn't matter whether its mps, m4a, wav, or alac. It doesn't even give me an error message that's useful as an explanation or solution. Just "can't play the file." I give up. :((

"Awesome app, really works, has preamp and 16 sliders"
Version: PowerAMP Music Player for Android 1.0 build 296
Pros
We too the subwoofer out of my cars and the music sounds weird without the amp on, but with this app when I play my music through my car speakers it sounds as if my system was hooked up. Easy to sort, and make a playlist and edit.
Cons
Don't like how it retrieves music files on your phone and sorts them.
Summary
This app is awesome and definitely worth paying for after the app is done. It really works, I do not have any problems or crashes with it. I can control it through my bluetoothn(Plantronics: dual stereo headset) as well
