Power Twitter is a Firefox add-on for enhancing your Web-based Twitter experience. Its most outstanding feature is its ability to show photos and videos that users post as thumbnails instead of text links. It also expands URLs to display link targets, and it has a handy shorten link button option that you can use to shorten links without having to leave Twitter.
Power Twitter's photo-posting capabilities are a great addition to the Twitter interface. You can select a photo and upload it to popular Twitter-sharing sites like YFrog, Twitpic, Tweetphoto, or Twitgoo. Power Twitter's Top Friends feature lets you go to any of your friends' Twitter pages and make them a "Top Friend" by clicking on the Add to Top Friends option that appears in the Twitter menu on the right side of the interface. This application also helps you keep up with your Facebook friends and will show you recent tweets from your friends. Enhancing the Twitter experience with add-ons and interfaces like Power Twitter is part of the fun of Twitter. Power Twitter isn't the most all-encompassing Twitter application we've seen, but it has some fun features and is definitely worth trying.
You can access help and technical support by clicking on the help link in the tiny Power Twitter window that appears at the bottom right of the Twitter interface. Power Twitter is free and installs and uninstalls with no problems. If you use Firefox and like to tweet, this handy application is for you.

From 83 degrees :Power Twitter adds features to the Twitter Web interface including displaying Flickr photo and YouTube videos. TinyURL links are also unwound to show the destination page title. Finally, any additional social information (blogs, photos) that match for the Twitter user are displayed in a news feed in the side bar of the Twitter page.

Pros: Able to see pictures, videos, and links in your homepage timeline,
its very cool; its like the features are built into the twitter webpage, it doesnt act like a program at all; its very seamlessCons: none whatsoever
Summary: when downloading the file select "open with Firefox" to install;
if you select "save as" it wont install;
I love this add-on, I could really see Twitter integrating these features into their webpage in a couple years;
