Used Power Audio CD Grabber for Windows?
Editors’ Review
This CD ripper does what it's supposed to, but we must voice a number of concerns. The first is with the application's less-than-desirable interface, which lacks visual appeal and displays a status window at the bottom of the main window that adds needless clutter. The application can encode tracks to WAV, WMA, MP3, and OGG formats. We're glad the program supports VBR compression and a couple of filters, but the tool for grabbing track information from the Web isn't 100 percent reliable. In several tests, it retrieved the wrong album and song names, even when we tried using different servers. And though Power Audio CD Grabber did succesfully do its job, it goes about its business rather slowly. When you consider all that--plus the fact the demo only encodes five songs per disc--we think you'll agree this program is an average choice at best.
