Publisher's description
From SYCODE :Points Points Export for Bricscad is a Point Text file export plug-in for Bricscad. This plug-in gives Bricscad powered applications and the ability to export point data to text files. Points Export for Bricscad reads point objects in an Bricscad drawing and writes it out to a text file in the XYZ to YXZ format. The point coordiantes can be delimited by standard delimiters such as comma, space, tab, semicolon or a custom delimiter. Points Export for Bricscad can also extract points from other objects such as end points of curves, centers of circles/arcs/ellipses, vertices of polylines, meshes, etc. Apart from writing out a text file containing the point coordinates, Points Export for Bricscad can even create point objects corresponding to the coordinates in the current drawing. Points Export for Bricscad is very easy to use. Once installed, it must be loaded into the Bricscad environment. Follow the simple instructions in the Getting Started document which can be found in the installation folder. Once loaded it adds new commands to Bricscad's existing commands and a new submenu called "PointsExport" to the Bricscad menu containing these newly added commands. Usually the coordinates are stored in the XYZ. However, points are sometimes stored in the YXZ order. This is common in survey data where the YXZ order is referred to Northing, Easting and Elevation. Here is an example of a point file with points stored in the XYZ order. 5.678232,3.282384,6.112837 7.802343,6.792039,2.489561 2.454512,7.453219,3.454865 ... and so on
