Publisher's description of Password Manager XP
From CP Lab:Password Manager XP helps you systematize secret information and allows you to store information in several databases. Each database has an access password and is encrypted with various algorithms at the same time (Blowfish, 3DES, Rijndael, TEA, Cast128, RC4, Serpent, and Twofish). Database fields can be fully customized. The program is designed for workgroup use, giving several users access to the password databases. Access rights and privileges can be regulated.
The removable-device wizard will help you install Password Manager XP in removable devices, such as USB Flash drives. The program can autofill Web pages, registration forms, and logon windows. This feature is compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer and a majority of usual applications. Password Manager XP has a built-in password generator and comes with backup, restore, and print options, and it informs you of expired passwords.
Version 2.3.471 has fixed hotkeys stop working in some cases and during form filling the same record is listed twice in record selection window in some cases has been fixed.

- "Faulty program"

- Version reviewed: Password Manager XP 2.3.471
Password Manager XP promises to safeguard username and password information for various accounts. However, a glitch produced several error messages when we put the program to the test.
The user interface is pretty basic, with menu and shortcut commands at the top of the window for saving databases and adding files and folders. A tree menu displays all of the created databases. Once the program was activated, we created a new database and browsed the Web, visiting sites that required a username and password. As soon as we signed in, the program prompted us to save the information. The first time we clicked the OK button, the information failed to save to our designated database. We visited a different page, but received an error message that we could not get passed. What's more, the program froze on us and failed to respond. Despite the issues, when we closed and reopened the program, our username and password information appeared in the tree menu.
A Help file is available through the user interface. Although the program ultimately saved our information, it wasn't worth the error messages and overall poor performance. We recommend you keep looking for a more functional program that doesn't have so many issues.
