Ever wonder what it would be like to own your own island? Well, with Paradise Island for Android, you can at least simulate the experience. In this "freemium" simulator game, you are the owner of a small sector of a tropical island, on which you work to build a perfect resort getaway. As you build more attractions and entice more tourists, your wealth grows, and eventually (if you're good enough) you can expand your empire to cover the entire island.
With enough money, you can build resorts, restaurants, casinos, hot dog stands, shopping centers, monuments, pyramids, waterslides, and so much more. But be careful, because as you go, you must take care to upgrade your administration building to accommodate more staff and build ample power generators to accommodate your attractions.
Paradise Island is labeled freemium because you can choose to use real money to buy in-game money. Doing so, as you can imagine, gives you a significant advantage when it comes to expanding your empire. There's also a social element to the game, as you can invite friends, view other players' islands, and work your way up a worldwide leaderboard.
Overall, Paradise Island is a fun and addictive title for anyone into simulator games. While it may take a few days to get started and amass enough money to build something nice, if you're willing to shell out the real-world cash, you can easily speed up the process.
