  Summary

  Seems kind of self-defeating to have a boot cd that will not run without internet access.. I was looking for a tool I could use on an infected machine thaqt had been isolated from the network.

  Pros

  I was able to configure the iso to safeboot and save the newest virus defs. to the nfs mounted file system.

  Cons

  The kernel needs to be recompiled to support x64 systems as well as some sata interfaces. I am still working to complete the kernel recompile but it should not be a huge hurtle for anyone with a Linux background.

  Summary

  Panda's SafeCD is a good product but it could be made great for a large scale network by creating a live dvd supporting pxe boot auto repair with out a the user needing to burn up their support offices time. • No Load-No Joy

  Even after unzipping and burning this to disk and telling my bios to boot from CD I still could not get the program to function. Maybe more detailed installation instructions should be included. HELP!!!!

  Summary

  What can I say,I'm still malware infested with absolutely no help from this program.

  Pros

  It runs from a boot disk. It boots into Linux and scans my Windows PC. It cannot be confused by rootkits or other malware. The new version can fix problems on NTFS disks.

  Cons

  You have to boot into it, so it is not a day-to-day antivirus.

  Summary

  This is better antivirus scanning and virus removal than any program can provide that runs on your computer. When you suspect that your computer might have a virus, this is the product to use.

• Excellent Anti Virus option

  Pros

  If your computer becomes infrected you can already have this on CD and pop it right in, some Anti virus programs on your infected system can become corrupted, that's what makes this protected CD so handy and a great option to have.

  Cons

  None so far, cured my system very quickly, will keep it handy.

  Summary

  I would recommend this excellent free product to anyone.
