From Palm :Palm Desktop is the desktop companion software for all Palm devices. It allows users to view, sort, find, edit, back up, and add anything to Palm OS handhelds. This update features a new user interface, useful new views, and timesaving features, such as a Hide/Show/Mask Records function and a resizeable memo window. Additionally, it also includes improved security and new ways to share, send, and receive appointments and address book information.
In addition to a brand new look, this updated software offers expense tracking, in-place memo editing, new ways to customize your launcher bar, a variety of desktop alarms, and more. Version 6.2 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Pros: The speed in conection (hotsinc)
Cons: I don't have any cons.

Pros: No positive feedback, because I could not install the app.
Cons: The install script failed about 2/3 of the way through. I tried several different times downloading it and trying the install, but all ended the same way - stalled. Very unsatisfactory.

Cons: Wasn't completely compatible with my original installation that came with the unit.
Summary: My main complaint was that it wouldn't recognize the Media portion of my original software so I was unable to cync my photos. I didn't want a complete new install for fear of losing my original files. Poor design for software updating that can't han... read more >>

"I have used Palm Desktop for years and it works well."
Pros: It works well and is there at the touch of a button. I print out my schedule for several weeks ahead and share it on the family calendar.
Cons: Nother has ever been a problem
