Offering a few takes on the classic arcade game, PacMan Adventures 3D is attractive and engaging, if not exactly innovative. You can play the standard version, a speed version, or a puzzle version. The 3D graphics and animation are slick enough, but not especially spectacular or original. The dynamic soundtrack effectively spurs you to kill the baddies. Alas, you can't configure control keys, and the trial version doesn't let you evaluate the multiplayer mode. You won't find a level editor here, either. This rehash offers nothing sensational, but Pac-Man fans will appreciate its familiar thrill.

PacMan Adventures 3D is a modern remake of the classic arcade game Pac-Man, with 3D scenes and splendid music. You use your dexterity and skill, traveling through a maze, eating all the dots to move to the next level, but avoiding or hunting down the monsters (after you eat power pills). The full version has four missions and 180 levels: Classic Adventure (50 levels), Big Adventure (50 levels), Speed Adventure (50 levels), and Pac SokoBan (30 levels). Unlike other Pac-Man games, this application also supports multiplayer mode; now you can play with your friends cooperatively or competitively. The excellent game controls and challenging levels make this game very addictive; once you start to play, you may not stop. You can get a children's version for free if you order the full game, so it's entertaining and intriguing for the whole family. The new version also lets you play in a 2D mode.
Version 2.06 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

"A good version of a good old game."

Pros
Graphics are good and somewhat original. There are several versions of the game, from the classic Pac-Man to some interesting new content. If you like Pac-Man, this is one you will probably enjoy very much.
Cons
I really have no complaints.
Summary
I've enjoyed Pac-Man since before most of your subscribers were born, and I like this version as well as any I've had. There are enough variations of the game here that I probably won't download another one. This is a very good product.

"Great Graphics, Great Sound, Aggrivating Freeze-ups"

Pros
The Sound, Graphics, artificial intelligence of the ghosts, everything is great! There are 4 modes to this game: Classic Adventure, Big Adventure, Speed Adventure, and Pac Sokoban (A 3D puzzle where Pacman pushes blocks to the right spaces, to advance to the next level. I especially like the Sokoban.

Perhaps it's just my machine (AMD 1.3 G, 512 m RAM: NVIDIA Old Card) but I'm getting freezeups at random times during the game, or when I eat a power ball.
