Developer’s Description

Convert PostScript/EPS/TIFF/JPEG/PDF files to PDF format.
PStill can convert PostScript (PS, also so called 'PRN' files when created with a PostScript printer driver), EPS, TIFF and JPEG files to the PDF format and can transcode PDF to PDF. The conversion can also concat several inputs to one PDF result, also as mixed type set. Conversion works just by drag & drop, however a command line module is also included for 'batch' use. PStill can be directly integrated into the Windows Printer mechansim on NT/W2k and XP, so PDF can be can reprocess PDF-Files, this process also known as 'Transcoding' create a complete new PDF that is often smaller in file size and can optional convert all fonts to outlines which makes it perfect for creating 'fontless' PDF. PStill supports color, spot colors and overprinting, color conversions (Spots->CMYK, RGB->CMYK, CMYK->RGB, CMYK/RGB->Gray), image downsampling and more. PStill can create PDF/X-1a and PDF/X-3, see e.g. http://www.pdfx.info for details on this prepress PDF format. The N-UP option can reorder pages in the output, e.g. to place several pages on one, 'stamp' an EPS or page number on the pages, inject Javascript code and more - and is fully scriptable. There is more PStill can do, please see its web page for details.
