It might be hard to believe, but the PDF sun doesn't rise and set on Adobe Acrobat. This suite of PDF-creation tools offers a cheaper alternative based on open-source software called Ghostscript. PDFill PDF Editor lets you design PDF documents complete with text boxes, embedded images, hyperlinks, and forms, and can output encrypted PDFs. In addition to the main application, the suite provides a number of utilities for splitting and merging documents, watermarking them, and adding headers and footers. We're glad to have them, but we would be even happier to see them integrated into the main program. Besides the logo the demo places atop every document, our only other complaint with PDFill PDF Editor is that it's quite slow at opening large (400-page) PDFs, even on a fast computer. Overall, PDFill PDF Editor probably won't make Adobe quake in its boots, but it's a good option for users who don't need the power of the Adobe package, or don't want to pay for it.Publisher's description

"my favorite software discovery"
Pros: I love all the things that pdfill helps me to do with documents. Check out a trial and you will be amazed at its worth. It's a great buy
Cons: I don't have any cons. I like everything about pdfill
Summary: It is wonderful how pdfill lets me edit pdf documents to make use of pdf documents that I otherwise could not use. It is a very helpful software

Pros: Easy to insert text into any PDF. Included tools are great to manage multiple PDF files.
Cons: Can be difficult to line up text.

"Tried to use product with NO success."
Pros: Pros - None
Cons: Cons - tried to use the program but had zero success at it. Eventually gave up and tried having someone at work (in IT) do what I needed done. Much simpler!
