  Pros

  Looked good, but didn't even allow me to scroll down to the bottom of the interface to insert the output file name.

  Cons

  Changed the homepage of both Firefox and IE. On IE, there was a new search engine, "conduit search", with ads containing items from my recent online purchases, and on Firefox I got "Click here to scan computer".

  Pros

  -Quick -customizable page sorting (1 page each, 2 pages each)

  Cons

  - destroyed my computer after I uninstalled it - couldn't rotate the pages - couldn't designate cover page - automatically counts first page as cover page so if you use 2x2, it will combine the 2 pages as your cover page

  Pros

  - Merges PDF's - Even gives you a few options such as having more than one page on each page, etc.

  Cons

  - Nag screen when you click on "build", wants you to upgrade - No confirmation screen that the pdf has been combined, although the folder where it is outputted to shows up immediately - Nice feature to have would be compressing the pdfs when combining, although it's a bit much to ask for free software I'm sure.

  Summary

  This is a simple, easy to use software. Yes, there is a nag screen, but this is easy to overlook for the fact that it's FREE. I have not found any software yet that will combine your software for free, not online, and quickly. There are some online pdf mergers, but I don't have confidence in their security when I'm dealing with sensitive documents. All in all, very satisfied, and happy that I don't have to purchase!!!

  Capable on combining multiple pages into one page

  Cons

  Attempts to install toolbar, asks to upgrade to paid version, GUI not intuitive, basic functions not immediately obvious.

  Summary

  Not recommended for basic PDF editing.

  Pros

  This works as described. Did not imprint a water mark or have any restrictions like other 'free' software.

  Cons

  Asks whether you want to install a password utility - I declined. There is also a nag screen asking whether you want to upgrade, but that's ok.

  Summary

  Coding is stupid, combing tries to make one-size-fit-all paging to stuff all your docs in.

  I don;t want you to do my paging, I want you to combine. Look at acrobat pro: select, right click, combine...boom, done.

  When I attempted to use it...it gave me a notification that if failed and that to merge my pdf's, I had to purchase a pro version upgrade...I thought it was suppose to be free...at least that's what it's name says...nothing more than a scam if you ask me...
