  Easy to use, easy to install, prints to pdf file.

  Cons

  Must install 2nd SW install in order for the print function to work. Loses some part of image on screen when printing from web page; you should review the page first in the print preview, you may need to 'massage' it. Sometimes have to select text because initially it places ads over text. Popup advertisements are an annoyance, but this happens only when printing.

  Summary

  Not using the converter, only using the printer for saving web pages as pdf. Besides the popup annoyance, it works well. Just select the pdf995 as the selected printer. Much better than saving complete web pages as html. Saving web pages as html sometimes crashes or hangs due to bad links, but pdf995 works around that problem, and is faster.

  Pros

  Well worth having in your tool box. Main advantage is u can create a good looking document from something plainer (eg Tax return using e-tax software but printing output to the Pdf995 pseudo-printer file) and then use Adobe pdf-reader to print this file, using the latter's options to print multiple pages to a page-side plus double-sided printing to save paper and filing space.

  Cons

  The fact that this software is in two pieces - the printer driver, plus the converter. I find this confusing, particularly when one or other needs updating - I can never remember the procedure, or how to see if I am up-to-date on both parts. (The one-page pop-up at the end is no problem, as this lets it be free software!)

  Summary

  Pros

  By creating a .pdf file and then loading and printing this via Adobe Reader, you get much flexibility re printing - eg printing 2 pages side-by-side on the one sheet and then optionally double-sided gives 4 pages to one A4 sheet; plus other Pro's.

  Cons

  A bit hard to understand at first, but not very. Not sure now why u need the main Driver plus a separate Converter prog. However not a lot of trouble to install &#38; run.

• Great Way To "Print to PDF"

  Pros

  If you can print it, this software will let you create a PDF of it. Have even used it to "PDF print" a fillable-form PDF file that does not allow saving. Extremely useful for "PDF archiving." Purchased $20 license in NOV 2008 and use it every day.

  Cons

  The very latest version of Adobe's non-saveable, fillable-form PDF file would not let me "PDF print" it. Latest software update may have taken care of that problem. Pro: software loads on to your computer just like another printer.

  Summary

  I find this software extraordinarily useful to capture windows showing things like bill payment confirmation numbers or online investment transactions or bank account transaction lists. The list is endless. I did not look at what the current cost of the software is but the $20 it cost me in late 2008 was ridiculously low. I made a point to use the software to "PDF print" the pdfSuite995 key email that software995 sent me after the purchase.

  Pros

  Again easy to download, install and use. Installed for a client who wanted something inexpensive or free to use for converting reports into pdf files. Works very well and is easy for them to use. The ads are awkward buy hey, it is free!

  Cons

  The ads at the end of the process each time.
