• Amazingly annoying installation

  nothing I liked about this.

  Cons

  You can't bother the user with such questions like "pick up the directory where you have installed XXX plugin". And you cannot continue to annoy the user with "Go on internet and pick up this other file, put it into this directory".

  I learned that the application does nothing very quickly, making the time investment small.

  Cons

  Does not function in any way, shape or form. Puts "FREE" in big bold letters as if a free application is a big deal when it does nothing.

  Summary

  The product is trash. You download it and install it. It then tells you to download and install something else. Sounds like a virus. So I download & installed the application suggested using download.com to find the other download. After that point the application told me the same exact error message. Perhaps following all their ridiculous directions does not result in scumware/malware whatever being installed on my PC but I wouldn't risk it. Shady company!

  I have occasionally run to this program over the years and installed it and even gotten it to work. BUT the once a year I need to convert EPS to something usable I waste time finding and installing this thing. TOO obtuse for quick use...

  Pros

  I downloaded and installed some other application (I forget which one it was now), and after it installed, I got a message that said I had to install GhostScript first. I uninstalled the other application and located and downloaded and installed GhostScript and reinstalled the other program and it works. I reckon GhostScript does whatever it is supposed to do.

  It does what nothing else I know does! <p>Creates PDF files (9 pages maximum?) that can easily be copied to MS Word, Excel, Notepad etc. using Acrobate Reader 7.0

  Cons

  IT can be installed and it DOES WORK but FIRST you have to install: <p>(from ...cs.wisc.edu...): <p>GSview 4.8, <p>AFPL Ghostscript 8.53, <p>Redirection Port Monitor (create your own folder), <p>Adobe Universal PostScript Windows Driver Installer 1.0.6 <p> <p>ALL 4 OF THEM ARE NECESSARY !!! <p> <p>Then you have to configure and show/tell the PDF Ghostscript Tool where the .exe file are for GSview and RedMon.
