Publisher's description
From JROK Games :Q*bert has been a favorite arcade game since its original release in the 80's. PC*Bert is an excellent clone of the original. The gameplay is the same, and the controls are just as simple as in the original. Move PC*Bert around the pyramid of cubes. Each time PC*Bert lands on a new cube, it changes color. Change all the cubes to the same color to clear the level. Of course, there is also the added problem of moving obstacles that knock you off of the pyramid if they hit you. Sound easy? Just wait until you try the higher levels of the game where the cubes change back to their original colors if you land on them a second time (see screen shots).
CNET Editor's Note: In February of 2000, there was an unauthorized release of this game that came with an installer. That release is not connected to JROK Games in any way. The installer changed your browser window to an advertising page and placed an advertising icon on your desktop. This problem has been corrected, and you may now download this game without any further disruption.

"Plays just like the commodore 64 version"
Summary: Worth the try.

Version: PC*Bert 1.2
Summary: It works well enough. The controlls are somewhat difficutlt until you get used to them. It works best with a joystick. I really wasn't impressed by this one, but give it a try, you may like it.
