Opera@USB has the same functionality as the Desktop version, but can be run on USB Flashdrive or Stick or Pen, and also as secondary browser on hard disk There are no unwanted effects on IE or other browsers, existing Opera versions are also not affected. It makes no entries to the registry, leaves no data on the guest computer.
Just really slow compared to the app on my PC ????
Although Opera@usb works it is slow thought I would check so I reinstalled it, nope still slow? Installed firefox portable, twice as fast? Uninstalled Firefox and tried a chrome portable by SRWare it to was twice as fast???? Left Opera on just out of principle!
Using it on my secure, ethernet network at work, the accounts I accessed (yahoo and facebook) were hacked within 12 hours of my logging in to them. Might be a coincidence, but those were the only two hacked, and the only two I accessed through Opera.
It stays small, It's just like Opera for desktop, You can install it on a Flash drive as well as any other memory card, taking bookmarks with you can be very handy
Opera isn't the best internet browser in the world, you have to make sure to extract the files to your memory card on the first try
If you need to surf the web on a different computer, and you enjoy using Opera, I highly recommend this program. However, If you are just staying at home to surf the web, this is a fun experiment, but there is truly no point. I still like it though!
