OkeOke.Net is a free karaoke software, you can also use it as a media management (or VOD) program. The application can run almost in any Microsoft Windows operating system. The software is easy to use and offer powerful functions: No installation needed, just unzip and run okeoke.net.exe. Please refer to readme.htm to install required .Net 3.5 sp1, which are all free Microsoft products. Support virtually all media type (including midi, kar and mp3+g), set up your own stream server. Google style search, and support mask character like * and ? Powerful Remote Control function, using any webbrowser (even running in your smartphone) to select songs and control the playlist. Easy to use tagging function, keep track of your best songs. Record your own songs, you can mix your recording with the accompaniment audio easily and add more cool effects. Then upload the song in One Click and share with your friends.
What's new in this version: Version 2.5.3.1 is a bug fixing release.

"no uninstall feature"

no uninstall feature and they link to your Facebook account. Privacy issues abound.
Summary
Generally nice work but need to make sure that security is improved.

"Great for home use, reliable and simply works"

Pros
no need to install, work right out of the .. zip file. Convert song database fully automatically. All useful functions are there. Supports two monitors, supports multi-language, and almost all media files.
Cons
Some of the functions are not very stable. However the author replies emails quickly. I believe it requires both the author and users to constantly improving the software.
Summary
I've tried many other similar software, and this one is so far the most stable one. No problem with codecs, no problem with song databases, no problem with multi-language, no problem with 2 monitors. Very good for home use.

I have tried and frastrated by many of the karaok softwares. This one is the only one I found working for me. And when I had problems it was easy to connect to the developer and he provide me with great support.
Cons
Lack the "go back to last page" feature
If the program closed with songs in queue next time it start it may hang -

Lack of instructions. Took forever to download and install.
Summary
Once I figure out how to use this program, my opinion of it might change, but as of now I think it's not very user friendly for those of us that aren't that computer savvy. I would like it if it came with some instructions, like how to assemble a playlist or take it off full screen without having to shut the program down.
