When I clicked on the link to download this my anti-virus popped up whilst it downloaded! Take my advice, DON'T DOWNLOAD IT!

It is a flase positive. The source code (and program) was available at officepoltergeist.com, until the domain expired. Another version is available that is simply an update of the source code of officepoltergeist. Neither versions are trojans, really. See the description here: http://officepoltergeist.110mb.com/.

This does what it claims to do. Now the people who have stated that this is recognized as a Trojan Horse are absolutely right, it is. However, it is neither harmful, nor can it be used for damaging purposes. It is extremely limited in what it can do, and therefore is harmless. So as a sumarization, this is a harmless and fun Trojan horse, which does not run again, after the victims machine has been shut down. (Unless your smart enough to edit their registry and force it to start up, NOT that I would DO that)

I think there are so many more things which could be integrated into this. But it is true that those things I have in mind might border on illegal. :)

Well, the publisher's description certainly made it look glorious.
Cons
The files are infected with various trojans, according to my Symantec Antivirus app. Maybe this is some weird reaction of my scanner, but I would never trust it on my box. Don't download this..
