CNET Editors' review
NoteZilla makes a strong case for itself as the virtual sticky notes program most worthy of your attention.
Although this utility doesn't really have a dedicated control panel, right-clicking the system-tray icon gets you numerous options to customize your note appearance and behavior with better-than-average skins and details. Hot-key support will be a boon to those who frequently use the program, while forgetful people will appreciate the ability to set an alarm for any note. If you don't want your reminders invading your personal space, you can decide on which applications or documents they will appear. Notes can helpfully roll up to the title line to conserve desktop space, and can synchronize with Outlook and Palm devices.
This application may not be the cheapest kid on the block, but it handles nicely and can help organize active minds.

"Better than Post-It Notes Software!"
Version: NoteZilla 7.0 build 85
Pros
Ease of Use
Cons
None as of Yet
Summary
Best digital notes software I've ever used. Easy to install, easy to use, and even easier to find your notes. No more sticky notes all over the monitor. They're right on your computer's desktop. Hide them all or show them all with a simple click.
Sticky to keep on top of all applications when you need it "right then." -

"Free, however excellent note tool"
Version: NoteZilla 7.0 build 85
Pros
Beyond expectation parts:
- Create new notes in a specific desktop area
- Minimize the notes
--> Really great note tool: remind you of what you have to do, but won't interfere in your working space.Cons
No to now? CAN'T complain anything.
Summary
Features adapt to all needs and beyond expectation - especially expectation of a freeware), strongly flexible.
This is the first tool I use for taking notes on my PC. However don't ever think I need any other else. -
"Looked everywhere for a great post-it app. This is it."
Version: NoteZilla 7.0 build 85
Pros
Flexible, attractive, easy to use, nice database functions
Cons
Really great app - would love to see auto-unfade on mouse-over so post-its aren't visible when you don't need 'em - but really, no cons what-so-ever.
Summary
I would buy it again and would suggest this product over any of the many others I've tried to someone looking for a note application for their PC. Nice work!

"A Gotta Have Tool"
Version: NoteZilla 7.0 build 85
Pros
It Just Works Great!
Easy to set up
Works on all versions of Windows
Easy to organize notes in different folders
Very flexible. Can send text, pictures, paste in Excel tablesCons
No real problems.
Spell check may be a good feature however i like not having it as it would slow down note sendingSummary
When migrating to a new operating system there are a small handful of 'gotta have' programs for me. Notezilla is one of those tools and it has never let me down.
We have a small home based business where my wife is doing design work in the house and 400 feet away i am doing the laser engraving work.
Notezilla is excellent for passing information back and forth. It gives both of us a 'paper' trail so we know exactly what each other is trying to communicate.
Also features like the Reminder are nice. It is all around a well thought out and well implemented product. -
"A student's, writer's or freelancer's dream"
Version: NoteZilla 7.0 build 85
Pros
Awesome note making capabilities (pin notes to webpage or document; hide notes/bring them to top/minimize them; sophisticated list-making functions; excellent note organization tools) and a top notch event-reminder. Very nice look. Has a great demo.
Cons
Prize, sure, though they offer 25% discount to students. If you're looking for a calendar, keep looking.
Summary
I look at it as a top-notch replacement of notepad/wordpad together with a very complete event reminder (events being notes) abilities that are the best I've seen for casual use. In other words, it doesn't replace Outlook, but it's awesome for the freelancer or the person who doesn't have to keep track of many daily appointments.
Other pros that I couldn't fit in above: it doesn't have a size limit on notes, so you could actually write a whole essay in one. You can format the text (font/size/alignment/underline, etc), spell-check and insert images. -
"Great Notes!"
Version: NoteZilla 7.0 build 85
Pros
The Note Browser with categories is great
Cons
A little pricey
Summary
Switched from Outlook to Thunderbird and needed a Notes replacement.
This is the one! -
"Pretty and functional"
Version: NoteZilla 7.0 build 85
Pros
Love how these work like real post it notes. Open a little rectangle on your desktop and be reminded of tasks every time.
Cons
What's not to like? I downloaded it because I needed it. It works exactly as I need it to work.
Summary
Love how these work like real post it notes. Open a little rectangle on your desktop and be reminded of tasks every time. They can also be really sticky with a click of a tack - you can see the post-it on top of all your windows. Or you can leave them on your desktop, just as reminders. Throwing one away is easy and satisfying, like accomplishing a task.

"Probably the best Post-it-Type Note App"
Version: NoteZilla 7.0 build 85
Pros
Beautiful graphics
Highly customizableCons
Too darn expensive
Takes too many steps to create a new noteSummary
I tried them all and for me this was the best. Very nice to use.
Too darn expensive. Most of the other apps are free or $10. This one
is probably worth more like $20, but not $30.
Most of the note apps have the feature that allows a single click on e
systray icon to create a new note. This one requires more steps --
right click then scroll down to select "new note". Not big deal but
not as user friendly. I emailed the developer and he said they'd be
adding that feature on the next release net year.
