This top-rated RSS reader comes with loads of useful features to quickly and efficiently download and manage your RSS feeds and podcasts.

Noopod has a well-designed, intuitive interface with several colorful buttons across the top of the page for updating, adding, and deleting feeds. Click one of five tabs to view downloads, videos, a directory, and even search the Internet. Both options for adding a new entry--copying and pasting the URL or choosing a link from www.rss-one.com--are easy. We especially liked the Noodock feature that lets you close the main window and still listen to a feed via the expandable tab on the right side of your desktop.

Impressively, during testing, it only took seconds to download a podcast with 52 separate files. Our only complaint is that the Services menu options are all in French. Regardless, we highly recommend this free RSS reader to users of all skill levels for its abundant features and great design.

Noopod Looks Great and Delivers

Pros
It looks great. Nice colours, clear and big buttons. Easy to navigate. Downloads Podcasts quickly and you can listen or save it to your own designated folder. It's pleasant and the sound output is very good.
Cons
Doesn't always open But....I have been doing some upgrades and my PC needs a reboot so that may be it. Otherwise if it keeps happening I will update this review.
Summary
Noopod has such a pleasant, easy to use UI. I have so far only used it for Podcast's and is faultless. There are other options which need exploring. Overall it is very good and I do recommend it.

Surprisingly few options to customize anything. Even basics like 'clear completed downloads' missing. No tutorial, no "Help" files "Forum" link broken. "noopod.com" website never loads. Wilsoftech website is entirely in french with no english version
Summary
This program is fine if you want a simple, basic program to find and download podcasts, and save them in a basic folder system. It's works nicely in the background, downloading and filing the latest podcasts I've added to it. But if you want help, your only option is to email their customer service. It's frustrating if you want to change or customize anything, & the "forum" and noopod.com both seem to be broken links.

1. Can play audio and video feeds directly from its interface <p>2. Does work well on a multi-monitor computer <p>3. Does let you resize your Feeds, Detail and List areas within the GUI <p>4. The best free RSS Feeds reader/viewer I've found so far (still looking though)

Two BIG ONES: <p>1. Does not let you rearrange (or sort) folders <p>2. Does not let you create folders inside folders <p> <p>I would've given it a 5 star if it had these 2 features
