  A good assortment of options for the tests.

  Free to try (briefly) - would hesitate to recommend if there was no time limit on it. (But there is a time limit.)

  Summary

  I cannot review features that they claim are there, but are not available to the 'trial version'. What I saw worked well enough - wish I could have tried some of the more advanced features, but I could not access the internet when it came time to pony up the cash or uninstall the program.   Pros

  This was a very easy download, exe file. Easy Menu you can look at and start right away. You can list 3 IP/URLs and you have a choice of "second" intervals to test. You can set buffer and rates and it offers scheduling options. You simply hit start, then stop when you're done, then export and it quickly puts information into text file which looks like this: <p> <p>Reault: (their typo) <p> <p>Sent: 26 <p>Received: 26 <p>Lost: 0 <p>Loss Rate: 0.00 % <p>Min Time: 1 ms <p>Max Time: 13 ms <p>Avg Time: 1 ms <p>Avg TTL: 64 <p> <p> Detail: <p> <p>11/16 10:53:24 Reply from 192.168.0.1 bytes=32 time=13ms TTL=64 <p>(this continues to list each action) <p> <p>My satellite is working today but I'm having lots of problems with Hughes Satellite which I just got and I'm hoping this will help keep a record of instances to complain to the company about. (I have satellite one day, and the next it's a 20 minute wait for one page or no reception at all. Very poor service.) Anyhow (just venting) This program looks easy to use for us non-technical people and could be of use for someone needing to track IP problems.

  A Very Clean and simple piece of software that can be used for quick diagnostic purposes.

  Cons

  This non-registered copy only allows first 50 lines of results to be exported to clipboard. Requires registration of $20 or more (depending on when you get it) to do more.
