short of finishing installation it told me:The following files did not self-register or unregister:1. c:\program files\common files\solidworks shared\SwDocumentMgr.dll The specified module could not be found.continue/cancel at this point don't allow the program to start.running installation again and choosing repair option won't do either.support/documentation on website in french only.

Viewer functions easy to use. Printing allowed and works. Also in many other languages (other than English) available - good for people like me who have little or no experience with this type of software.
Cons
I had a (arch.) plan with cyrillic fonts to print (dwg). According to the description this should have been possible but it didn't work (instead of text only question marks appeared on the print out).

View your SolidWorks 3D models and DXF/DWG files.

Free SolidWorks / DWG / DXF viewer. MyCAD Viewer is a free viewer that allows SolidWorks 3D models and DXF/DWG files visualization. RMB click on your documents in Windows Explorer, and select Viewer MyCAD to: display the drawing or the 3D model. Manipulate (zoom, pan, rotate, show/hide, animate). Print, modify, suppress or add document or configurations properties. List all references and search for where used documents. In addition, the MyCAD viewer allows you to save your open document in eDrawing format. You don't need SolidWorks or eDrawing installed on your computer to use this viewer. The latest release adds support for Windows Vista.
