From Gnome s.r.o.:

A package which enables you to connect to a scanner or camera directly from your Java application. You can use one code to acquire images from the Twain as well as from the SANE drivers. The image acquisition is very intuitive with the Morena API. To acquire an image, few lines of Java code is enough.
