Metafile Companion is a simple drawing program that can be used to edit Windows metafiles from the Clipboard, or in WMF, EMF, and CLP files. While Metafile Companion is great for editing clip art, you can use it to edit practically anything copied to the Windows Clipboard in picture format or saved in a WMF or EMF file. That includes graphs, charts, and drawings created from almost any Windows application.
What's new in this version: Version 1.3 adds support for Windows 7, 64-bit versions of Windows XP, Vista, and 7, Unicode text, and new Paste As commands.

Summary
I have 2 metafiles I need to create. One was text only which this program was great for, however the second one needs the company logo included, and I have not found a way to even copy and past the image into a metafile!

Summary
The only reason why I downloaded this software was to have to convert images to metafiles. The only way this software handled was to go through a CLP file. It failed to open it...

Perfect for designing logos and letterheads. Bitmaps usually have jagged edges. They look much more professional with Metafile Companion.
