MetaEditor (successor of ExifEditor) will allow you to edit hidden metadata within your digital photos very easy and quickly. Main features are support for JPG and TIFF photo file format, edit EXIF, IPTC and GPS information in your photos, interoperability with Google Earth/Maps, file formats KML, KMZ supported, lossless photo editing without re-compression, metadata export & import to/from XML file, advanced features for text and date values (shift date, upcase, lowecase), and MEcmd console utility included - batch processing from command line.

This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.

Great software for editing EXIF and IPTC photo tags.

Pros
Easy to use, yet powerful if you enable the advanced features. Very responsive developer.
Cons
None that I have found yet.
Summary
A lot must have changed in 5 years, because the previous reviewer (from 2008) said MetaEditor could only edit a few EXIF fields. The version I'm using shows well over 100 EXIF, IPTC, and XMP tags.

Summary
It would not do what I need; I'm using Adobe Bridge and Lightroom to update the metadata, although they are slow and don't really work in a batch mode.
