"Thanks for the fast ^ endless updates"

    September 21, 2006   |   By Robert Longs

Version: MathMagic Pro for InDesign 5.42

    Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
With this update, I found the shaded nesting and bitmapped PICT option very useful.
    Keep the good work.
But I am still looking forward to using InDesign's Swatch list within Math magic's color palette. And the ability to save in PDF directly so that we can use the equations in many OS X native apps.

"InDesign should handle the inline graphics better..."

    January 13, 2006   |   By hsoft

Version: MathMagic Pro for InDesign 5.3

    Summary

...to make it work better with tall equations
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Other than the slow InDesign, some of InDesign's limitations, like the text engine's not-smart line spacing when having one or more tall objects, sometimes cause tedious work to make the next line not to overlap over the equations.
Is someone has a trick or solution for this?
Other than these InDesign's limitations, we are happy with MathMagic Pro.

Well, MathMagic for Indesing is a bit cheaper than MathMagic pro for QXP, but not accessable for many small offices or freelances.

    "works great for me"

    February 07, 2005   |   By Jamie here

Version: MathMagic Pro for InDesign 5.01

    Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
My clients like MathMagic equations better(than previous MathType equations). There were some fonts that did not return correct Postscript name but I had no problem in general. Their support team told me about those problematic fonts so that i could fix the fonts by myself with FontLab.
In overall, MathMagic saved a lot of time for me and works great.
One more thing I would ask is to support MML sooner or later.
