This screensaver shows the serene beauty of the underwater world. The installation is fast, and Marine Aquarium launches on your desktop in seconds. The screensaver has fish, coral, plants, and other underwater objects. The water sound is a great feature that makes you feel like you're looking at the underwater world from a bathyscaphe. Most of the screensaver settings are basic, such as sound volume and screen resolution, but you can also add fish from the list. The program turns out to be educational, since the entry for each fish lists its full name, Latin name, location, and other facts. Its realistic representation puts Marine Aquarium head and gills above its competitors.

Pros
Very Relaxing View. It is like having an Aquarium without the cleanup. Previous users wished the music could be turned off. My version allows me to turn off music and just have sound of bubbles. Nice.
Cons
None that I know of.

screensaver hangs up at times, the music is a nuisance (why not bubbles?), pressing any key will not clear the screen - you have to hit the escape key.

Pros
This can entertain kids for hours, especially if you are running in high resolution with a good enough graphics card. It looks so real at times! The full version has many fish to choose from and many settings to customize.
Cons
Just make sure you set it correctly if you're using a widescreen monitor so that you can get the full enjoyment out of it.
Summary
Pretty and low cost way to be nicely entertained for hours by a screensaver. Almost realistic at times.

The fish pre-selected are a nice variety and enough to be swimming around. The overal look is very life-like, looks just like an aquarium without having to have all the expense & fuss!
Cons
Only plays one song. I had hoped for just the sound of soft bubbles like an aquarium. So I just mute my computer sound.
Summary
The free verson is a delight to have as a screensaver. No fuss, no muss.

The Demo was excellent, saw many types of ocean fish that are reef dwellers. natural fish movements. Very good sound effects, bubbles, and relaxing music that you can choose. Very relaxing experience. I might buy it.

I like Marine Aquarium 3 very much. The Demo was excellent, and easy to use and understand. For people that want a realistic Marine reef screen saver, I would highly recommend it. Personally I chose to buy Dream Aquarium because it is also excellent and has the tropical fish that I prefer.
