Well spare you the details of the results of our tests for Mapper, because theres really not much to say. The program didn't work for us.

The free program is supposed to let you switch back and forth between different map viewing sites to find the most accurate information without having to key in the information. We visited both Google Maps and MSN's Live Search and tried to switch between the two, but nothing happened. The pushpin feature is similar to a bookmarking feature that lets you save particular locations on a map, but we couldn't get it to work either. Directions for using the program can be found through the publishers Web site, but they were vague and didn't offer one iota of help. We found it just as easy and reliable to visit our favorite maps sites to compare information.

Don't bother with this application. It proved to be more of a hindrance than a help.
