"Baloney Product"
Version: MagicISO Maker 5.5 build 281
Pros
The free version is good enough. Use it to mount ISO's, but create them with other free software.
Cons
Look, this is really good software if you don't pay for it. If you do, then just like all the other people on here, you will be pissed. I usually read reviews really thoroughly before buying, and what happened? I didn't do that this time. This is a good product if you only use it for instance to mount already created ISO's. In that aspect, it does a phenomenal job. Just don't, for the love of everything holy, buy it. These people are scammers.
Summary
Don't buy!!!!

A commodity utility.
Cons
repeated emails to support are unanswered. Unethical folk behind this product. Recommending UltraISO instead.

"Uninstall leaves shell extension "adware" in place"
Version: MagicISO Maker 5.5 build 281
Pros
Successfully decompressed proprietary "UIF" files back into non-proprietary ISO files.
Cons
The uninstall left an Explorer shell extension in place. The extension creates a context menu for all files, and if you select any item in the context menu you get a popup prompting you to reinstall the program. Relegates the product to crapware.

"Want to suffer? Then, this is the software to use."
Version: MagicISO Maker 5.5 build 281
Pros
Easy-looking interface.
Cons
Impossible to convert DMG files that have HFS+ feature.
Summary
Impossible to convert DMG files that have HFS+ feature. You cannot figure out from HELP what to make it work. You follow the instructions (there is a visual of what needs settings need to be checked). You check those settings. You then fill out all the screens again selecting all the settings (which don't get saved - God forbid) and you keep getting a message telling you their web page to LEARN HOW to convert this type of file. You then go there, do the same thing, get the same error again, follow the instructions, select all the settings and then you get the same error message sending you back to the same web page with the same useless instructions.

"Not worth my time"
Version: MagicISO Maker 5.5 build 281
Pros
None found
Cons
I have no idea what the full package is like, but the trial will not allow a large enough ISO to burn a CD. Waste of my time!
Summary
Don't bother

"Not as bad as they say, have to know what youre doing.."
Version: MagicISO Maker 5.5 build 281
Pros
Very good, as it allowed me to mount, extract, and open ISO images that were 6GB and up. It has a limitation of 10GB in the free version, and that's more than I'll ever need from an ISO image. Ultra ISO is worse because the limit is like 600MB.
Cons
Created an invalid startup entry on my computer on at least 2 occasions, but I'm sure that's nothing that an uninstall/install can't fix. Also, this program does not contain a digital publisher's signature, which basically means use at your own risk
Summary
The 10GB capacity is great in comparison to other ISO programs. UltraISO only allows like 600MB in the free version, and if you're trying to mount a larger ISO you're not gonna have much luck unless winRAR allows you to extract, but large file extractions can take a very long time, compared to a few seconds of mounting. It's your choice.

"Your accusation is NOT true!"
Version: MagicISO Maker 5.5 build 281
Pros
I just created an ISO rip of a DVD that is 6.6 GIG in size (Legend of the Guardians: Owls of Ga'Hoole) with the demo version and when I mounted the ISO, it played with no problems whatsoever.
Cons
No problems that I have found so far.
Summary
This is the first time that I have used the demo program. I worked perfectly, the first time after loading and making an ISO version of a DVD. It did not limit the size of my ISO file that was created.
