In this day and age of Trojan horses, viruses and other Web-based nasties, backing up your computer is more important than ever. With Magic Backup, you won't pay for the program you download to manage backups, but you will need to renew the subscription for the online storage service every year.

Still, it's incredibly easy to back up your important files using Magic Backup. The program's simple-to-navigate screen will appeal to users who have never backed up a file in their life, as well as those who have been backing up for years. Five simple tabs display status, settings, files chosen for backup, advanced options, and files to be restored. The options here are quite simple, but don't allow a great deal of flexibility. This is excellent news for users looking for something effective and simple. For files you want tracked, the program automatically notes changes and updates the online version accordingly. Its biggest asset to the user is that restoring lost files is a snap. Users choose to restore single files, whole folders, or the entire stored memory. All is sent to a desktop folder to be sorted out by the user. You also can access your online account from anywhere, even if the Magic Backup program isn't installed on the computer you use.

The storage space is limited in the short 15-day demo, but unlimited if you pay up. Users should know the listed price is only for a year's worth of online storage and isn't the price of the program.

From Magic Softworks :

Magic Backup is an automatic online backup service that protects all of your important data including pictures, music, documents, financial documents, and e-mails. Magic Backup makes it simple by automatically making copies of your files to our secure, off-site data center. It works continuously in the background to monitor new file creation and changes to files. Your files are encrypted then copied to a secure data center, where you can later recover them in the event of a catastrophe, or access them from any Web browser anywhere. Magic Backup is simple, safe, and secure. Version 1.0.077 is a bug fixing release.
