Some of the preferences didn't sseem to work and my entries in my "Phone Book" vanished each time I quit the program. Try Jon's Phone Tool instead. It's the same price, is easier to use, and works great.

But it becomes more and more buggy with the time and since any versions... is not more able to run at all! Shaaaareware??? ?"A bug fix or twooo????" It needs to be totally rewritten and tho rethought! Use iAddress instead, as I by weeks, you will never regret that 5 stars gem!

I am using PowerBook G4, aluminum 15", 1.25 GHz, 1Gb RAM and my modem works extremely well (knock in wood). So, what is going on with MacDialer? Nice idea - but it doesnt work - or, I do not know how to MAKE it work!?

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com. It looks like it all works with revision 1.4.1 Launches, retains preferences, dials correctly. Now ,let's hope it stays stable. I'll make sure that I keep a backup of this version in case any future updates introduce old or new bugs. And now that it works, it is a great little application that makes dialing quick and easy. BTW - if you pull down your address book in the drop down menu and hit a letter on your keyboard, the list will jump to taht letter in the long list of contact names. Cool.

As the author has acknowldeged, the icons are missingin this beta, but a fix is completed and on its way. The author delivers updates on a regular basis attempting to squash the bugs that have made this software unstable through its beta stages. When it works, this little app delivers a simple method of quickly dialing contacts and is a wonderful addition to my system. Based on its history, I would recommend trying it out, but wait until it has proved itself stable over time before declaring it gold.
