CNET Editors' review
Combining a history eraser, a file-encryption utility, and a spyware killer, this program offers some useful features for securing your computer. We found it easy to navigate the main interface. File encryption works well and is easy to use, and you can configure the program to manually delete the source file afterwards. The history killer cleans up after a variety of software, from Windows and Internet Explorer to Opera, Netscape, and Firefox. You'll find a tool for creating your own plug-in cleaner, although you'll need to be somewhat computer-savvy to use it. Nevertheless, the application already can clean up after numerous third-party apps, including popular IM and file-sharing clients.
Overall, the program's spyware-removal prowess fared better than it has in the past. Scans were mostly fast, and the app did a capable job of removing the majority of the spyware and malicious browser-helper objects we installed for testing purposes. While this program shouldn't be your only line of defense against adware, it makes an all-around attractive safety and privacy suite.

"MALWARE, SPYWARE, BAD BAD BAD"
Version: MNS Spyware Remover & History Eraser 4.2
Pros
nothing good to talk about
Cons
this program is spyware
Summary
Spyware Search & Destroy detected this as spyware, and removed the whole entire program, then prompted me to restart my comp and do a deep down search. I've never had to do that before, and it took 2-3 hours! Save yourself some time and possibly your computer from a horrible ending and just skip over this program. *** editors, giving this 4 stars!?
