"I tried the freeware version. Awful."
Pros: It's advertised to do quite a bit, but I found it completely useless.
Cons: Almost all of the features are disabled in the freeware version. Crippleware with a vengeance. Also, the uninstaller doesn't work properly (Hint: before uninstalling, go into Windows Administrator Tools and disable the service manually).
Summary: Among the cripple-features in the freeware version: you can only use it with one domain. All of the "Security Settings" are also disabled. You should try the completely free hMailServer, which at least at first try seems to work better.
