I updated my Mac to OS X El Capitan. And auto update to the M4V Converter new version. It is very simple tool for me.
It helps me to transfer all iTunes movies to the new Samsung smart TV. It is a green tool.
Cons
I want to review my added videos, but it doesn't support it.
Summary
Support my iTunes 12.2 perfectly.
Keselly
Pros
It works well on my iTunes 12.2, simple to use.
Cons
It is enough for me. I have nothing cons to say about this app.
Summary
I am a daily iTunes user. I bought a lot of movies from iTunes Store. And I bought a Samsung Galaxy S6 for my son, I found I can't transfer the iTunes movie to the phone. Fortunately, I came across M4V Converter Plus for Mac and immediately I felt in love with the application. I've used it for several days and never found anything wrong - until now.
M4V Converter Plus developer has continued updating it so that it remains adding new features. For example, I am able to use this app to quickly update to the latest version 4.1.2. This update fixes some bugs. The latest version can work on iTunes 12.2 perfectly.
Good Job and great m4v converter

Pros
Convert any iTunes purchases and iTunes Rentals.
Super fast speed when choosing Same as source for MP4 / MOV as the output format.

Cons
More hot and now output preset needed.
More quick support.
Summary
For the persons who want to convert protected videos of iTunes Store and remove DRM, it is very helpful.
I have read the above reviews, and download it to try with doubt. Now i am happy it solves my problem.
Quirky getting used to at first, but works perfectly!
timhood
Pros
Works perfectly as described
Is quite fast
Using "Same as source for mp4" yields a perfect quality result in reasonably fast time
Cons
I had to figure out its quirks before I was sure to be successful every time.
Summary
The quirk I eventually learned was that it's best if you quit iTunes before starting the program. If you don't, when you start, you will be prompted that iTunes must be quit and relaunched anyway. It might work just as well that way, but I found quitting iTunes ahead of time always works.
The second important thing is to allow the program time to load the iTunes library before you try to convert a movie. On my computer with a fairly extensive iTunes library, this can take about a minute. I watch for the disk activity to stop, but Activity Monitor will also help.
Once it has loaded the iTunes library, I can select the movie from the list, choose any options (my favorite is to select only the "English" language among the language choices), and use "Same as source for mp4". This ensures an exact copy. After clicking "Convert," it's just a matter of letting the process complete, which on the new version seems to be maybe about half as long as it would take to watch the movie.
When complete, you will have a movie in your "Movies" folder, which you can drag and drop into iTunes if you like.
Complete rip-off do not buy.

Pros
None, this software does not work as described, nor does it work at all.
Cons
Once they sell you their crap software you will never be able to reach these people again. Absolute junk that will just lock up your computer or error out on every single video you try to convert.
Summary
Absolute crap. Stay away. Do not buy anything from this company.
Absolute waste of money

Pros
There are no pros. This is a total waste of money, waste waste waste.
Cons
So you rent an iTunes movie, copy it to your desktop then drag it into Noteburner M4V Plus and start the conversion. You have the rental for 24 hours. Well guess what? It takes more than 24 hours to do the conversion so the movie expires before it converts. So you wasted $49 for the program plus the cost of the rental. And, if you're dumb enough to try again, like I was, you waste the cost of another rental too.
Summary
The software doesn't do what it claims it will, costs $49 and there is no support. Total waste of money and, even worse, of time.
ok software, broken as of Itunes 11.0.2
BadFairy_graphics
Pros
Does a good job of re-encoding movies without losing resolution (NICE for HD movies)
Cons
poor technical support. Since this is obviously not their software, dont expect any good answers when things go wrong. The same software has been marketed to Noteburner, M4Vconverter and half a dozen other applications from separate companies.
NOTE: this software is broken by the iTunes 11.0.2 update and according to Noteburner's support email, their R&D department has no idea how to fix it (little wonder there) and just said that it wont work.
Summary
I'd stay away from this package.
This is absolute garbage
jarodcore
Pros
Unfortunately, I have nothing positive to say about this software.
Cons
Doesn't support 5.1 Surround
Crap quality conversions
Summary
This thing is crap, and it's the exact (I mean, literally, the same exact piece of software) as Noteburner, another piece of garbage "M4V Converter". They're marketed separately but they're the same thing. They don't support surround sound. I don't even know what the "Plus" price is for. This is crap. I'm out $50 because of a scumbag company.
Not fair !

Pros
Great idea
Cons
Doesn't work any more for OS 10.6.8
Summary
If you don't install Lion, you loose the fifty dollars invested in this sofware !
It's not fair !

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I think it's a great small app. The standard settings work great for ripping movies to any format and it's also customizable. However I wish there would be a little bit more support from the company if you contact it regarding support.
Troubling is that the standard settings seem to rip the purchased itunes rental into a lower video bit rate.
