Think Gilligan's Island meets The Sims. While features are limited and graphics are passible, Lost Island is a borderline entertaining game--even more if you're considering a tropical vacation. It's not an intuitive game, however; be sure to read the tutorial completely before starting up. Manage food, conserve water, build shelter, and try not to go out of your stranded mind--it's the basic survival premise that both prime-time TV and Hollywood loves. The program unfortunately doesn't allow you to change colors or some controls, but you can tweak the music volume and mouse controls. About as fun as a barrel of coconuts, this game just isn't one of our favorites.Publisher's description
From MaximaGames :Find out how many days you would be able to survive in the desert without water. Discover if you would be able to find food on a tropical island, or start a fire without matches or a lighter. You don't have to make a trip to the wilderness to test this out. Supply your characters on a small deserted island with water and food, construct shelters to keep them alive, and prove your composure and inventiveness.

Version: Lost Island - Surviving 1.0.3
"I love it, I don't understand why it was so difficult for some"
Pros: very interesting and stimulating. I downloaded the trial version and completed the first two scenarios. At first it took me a few tries to get the basics of the game, then it was all creative and producrive fun. I just bought the full version. I cant help it when I find a good sim/strategy game. Nice graphics by the way, it is not a low quality game (doesn't take much to please me though)
Cons: Yes I agree that there is no help or instructions available but really it's not that difficult to figure it out. I didnt like the menu and the options available.

Version: Lost Island - Surviving 1.0.3
Pros: Nice Graphics
Cons: The intructions are not detailed enough. Takes forever to figure out how to play the game then takes forever to be able to do any of the tasks in the game. Don't Bother.
