Anyone trying to learn a foreign language will need to spend plenty of time speaking and hearing the way it actually sounds. This program aims to make that possible for a variety of languages. The application is designed to play prerecorded phrases and dialogs at various speeds and allows users to repeat them as many times as needed. It also prompts users to write the phrases and checks spelling at the end of each word or phrase. The trial version comes with study files for English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean, but offers only four to six phrases each--not nearly enough to adequately evaluate the program, in our minds. Nevertheless, language learners in need of a conversation partner might find this a help.Publisher's description
From Prosigner :Listening Wizard helps you to improve your listening and comprehension skill. Version: Listening Wizard 4.2
Pros: You have to press ctrl+H to get hints for the original text. I guess they forgot to put it in the manual. It took me a while to figure it out. Other than that, listening wizard is flawless!

Version: Listening Wizard 4.2
"I like the auto-partitioning functionality."
Pros: When you import an audio file Listening Wizard is automatically partitioning it into several audio sentences. After auto-partitioning you can also fine-tune the sentences, which usually you don't have to.
