If you try to resize the program, it won't make the content bigger. It was created with VB because they used the VB logos and template in the "About" box. All text was very unprofessional, nothing was capitalized correctly. timer didn't do anything except shout "done" at you. green doesn't even look like a traffic light. if i were a teacher, i could create a better program in 5 minutes that could do the job much, much better.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Apr 20, 2009<p/>If you enter any letter into the text box, even if it is with numbers, the program will crash. Anyone can create beautiful installers with free programs like NSIS or Inno Setup if they put just a little effort into it. The colours are not right, timer is in ms (the most useless unit of time ever), the countdown on the time leaves a lot to be desired (nothing shows up until you get a 'done' dialogue box). This program is also very buggy and crashes alot.

Overall this program is a waste of hard drive space even if it only takes up 141 kb, this program is absolutely useless and should have never even been written. This program certainly does not live up to its design brief as it splash screen (or what I thought was a splash screen) quotes "Lightes was designed to help teaches" aside from the obvious spelling error it has never/will never serve its purpose as a teacher aid. This program is so buggy that It's almost classifiable as a virus (or at least so buggy it's worse that manually installing trojans to see what will happen).

MADE MY COMPUTER CRASH!

Ok, first of all it was made in a program called Multimedia Fusion 2, video game making software for 10 year olds. I haven't used it in 4 years but i could still make something worth wild with it in 5 minutes. Coming from someone who owns the software, this would take a non retarded person 30 seconds to make. Also, THIS THING CRASHED MY COMPUTER! During the install, it CLOSES WINDOWS EXPLORER! The START MENU DISAPPEARS AND IN TASK MANAGER EXPLORER.EXE ISN'T A PROCESS. I had to ctrl-alt-delete to restart my computer. DON'T DOWNLOAD! DON'T EVEN OUT OF CURIOSITY. WATCH CNET'S WORST DOWNLOADS, EVERYTHING IS THERE.

I like the picture in the "about" section.
Cons
The millisecond timer is consistently about 130ms high. There should not have been a timer that displays that high of an accuracy, only to be unreasonably off. Timer for 0ms returns 200ms. 100ms and 130ms both returned 240ms. The red and yellow are correct, but the green is 0x008000, which is only half green. The "off" setting is an odd 0xF0F0F0, which is almost white, but not really. The GUI is resizable, but the content is statically located and will not change size.

Wow! It works like a charm, and it's evolved-from-a-traffic-light interface just blows me away. I'm amazed this is free. I mean, seriously, it's better and more feature packed than Adobe Photoshop- And that's like 600, 700 $!

It sucks. It's a tool for showing 3 colors. You could use MS Paint and show 256 colors!!!!!!
