Used Kigo Image Converter for Windows?
Editors’ Review
We frequently find ourselves needing to convert or resize images to e-mail to friends, post on blogs, or share on social networking Web sites. All the full-featured images editing programs can take care of these tasks, but we're sure we're not the only ones who don't want to launch a huge program for such a simple job. Kigo Image Converter is a lightweight program that makes quick work of image conversion and resizing, and offers a few extra features to boot.
The program's interface is plain and intuitive, and we had no trouble figuring out how to get started. Users simply select the image or images they want to work with, adjust the settings, and click Convert. Kigo Image Converter can convert images between the BMP, JPEG, PNG, TIF, PCX, TGA, J2K, and JPC formats. Users can also resize images, either by entering a size factor (.5, for example, resizes the images to 50 percent of its original size) or by entering the desired width and height. Kigo Image Converter also supports the addition of watermarks, either text or image, making it easy to protect batches of images from sticky-fingered viewers. The program's built-in Help file is brief but adequate. Overall, Kigo Image Converter didn't offer anything that we hadn't seen in numerous other image conversion programs, but it is a good choice for users looking for an effective, no-frills ways to convert and resize images.
Kigo Image Converter installs and uninstalls without issues. We recommend this program to all users.
