Developer’s Description

Perform license check or activation process for Java software.

JLicensure is a simple yet effective licensing solution for your Java software. It enables you to control when and how often your software is installed or run. The main feature of JLicensure is an online license check/activation process that is as transparent to the end-user as possible, while enforcing your license policies and protecting your code. JLicensure consists of the JLicensure Server and the JLicensure Client Module. The latter needs to be included in the shipping software. Even though JLicensure can be deployed in numerous scenarios, it has been primarily designed to work in a client-server environment.

The JLicensure Server resides at a secure site operated by the software provider, whereas the end-user application (software containing the JLicensure Client Module) is installed on arbitrary, previously unknown and possibly firewall-protected end-user machines. The end-user applications automatically request licenses over the network through the JLicensure Client Module. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.
