Sometimes, the best things come in simple packages. Although it doesn't include the flashiest feature set, this program acts as a decent assistant to your home scanner. JGS-Scan helps you scan documents, convert them into either PDF or TIFF files, and e-mail or print files. It also can support a number of image file types, such as JPEG or BMP. Again, there aren't a lot of bells and whistles but what is included works well. You can play with a few editing features, such as file rotation, zoom, or grayscale formatting. Overall, JGS-Scan will work well for home scanners who need a reliable program to scan or convert documents.Publisher's description
From JGS-Soft :JGS-Scan is a tool for scanning documents. Simply place the document in the scanner's feeder and let JGS-Scan do the work for you. Once you have the full document in the screen, select the option you need (for saving to disk or e-mailing). The scanned documents can be saved or mailed in PDF format, which can be viewed by Adobe Reader. You also can compose a PDF or TIFF document using images from your disk.
Version 3.0.3 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Version: JGS-Scan 3.0.3
"DEMO VERSION - Puts a COMPANY LOGO on your page"
Pros: NONE! NO PROS!
Cons: It is a trial 20 day version. Not clearly stated on the outset. It also puts a "TEST" logo on the evaluation version of this software onto your scanned pages. SO don't bother!!!
Summary: I wouldn't pay for this.
