Full of insight and analysis, Internet Connection Counter doesn't improve your connection; it just tells you more about it. At first glance the program seems pretty simple--it's just a toolbar showing statistics. However, when you open it and see the options, it's actually amazingly complex. The tabbed interface is friendly, however, and navigating your settings is not complicated. Besides customizing your toolbar view, you also can customize the methods and metrics the program uses for its data collection. If your ISP is charging you per minute, you can even calculate how much money you've spent surfing the Web during a particular time frame. Internet Connection Counter will record sites you've visited and calculate how many megabytes were exchanged during your session. Anyone curious about the inner workings of online connections doubtlessly will find this a useful tool.
